The set contains four cards with different defined color temperatures:
By using these colored cards in the custom white balancing procedure of your camera, you can emulate the lighting atmosphere that you wish in your picture, without having to use a special light source for it, or without having to wait for a special light at a certain time of the day.
You can create a special lighting mood in your picture, whenever you feel that it will improve the quality of the photo.

Additionally the set contains a neutral white card:
Standard daylight films and standard photo sensors in digital cameras are calibrated to depict the most “natural” colors with lighting of a color temperature of 5400°K, which is perceived by the human eye as neutral white light.
To emulate a neutral white lighting in your picture, the CTC set contains a neutral white card. Using this card in the custom white balance mode of your camera, you perform a standard white balancing.
